A construction company, like many others, had a problem you probably have too: a pile of quotes sent out and never followed up on.
The owner was always on-site. Chasing them one by one, making phone calls, remembering who said "I'll think about it" three weeks ago was not his thing. Not out of laziness. Because of time. Those quotes were just sitting there gathering dust, and every stuck quote is a job you might have already lost without knowing.
The real problem is not sending the quote
It's what happens next. Studies on the subject always say the same thing: most sales close after the fifth contact, but almost no one goes past the first or second. For a tradesperson or a company, the "next step" simply doesn't happen. You sent the number, and then you went back to work.
The result is that you leave money on the table. Not because the quote was too high. Because no one ever heard from you again.
What I built
An AI agent that does the follow-up for him, on WhatsApp.
Here's how it works. You load a list from an Excel sheet with the contacts of clients who received a quote and haven't replied yet. The agent contacts them on WhatsApp by itself, with a message written like a person would write it, not a robot. It asks if they had a chance to look it over, if they have any questions, or if they want to book a site visit.
Those who reply are managed. Those who don't are contacted again after a few days, once, without becoming pushy. All without the owner having to touch a thing.
Why WhatsApp and not email
Because clients of a construction company live on WhatsApp, they don't check their email three times a day. A message on WhatsApp gets read. An email ends up forgotten along with newsletters. For this type of business, the channel makes the difference between a message read and one ignored.
Who it is really for
Anyone who sends quotes and doesn't have time to chase them. Construction companies, sure, but also plumbers, electricians, window installers, anyone who works on quotes and spends their days on the field instead of in front of a computer.
It's not an agent that sells for you. It's an agent that keeps the conversation alive until you are the one to close it. The difference between a forgotten quote and one that comes back to the table is often just a message sent at the right time. That message, now, goes out automatically.
If you have a pile of stuck quotes and the thought of calling them all back already gives you a headache, let's talk. It's probably the kind of thing I can build for you too.
